Fail

I had the opportunity to practice playing with some off camera flash yesterday, but my batteries died after about two shots. I kept trying to shoot anyways, and came to the realization that shooting in a huge shaded area was not gonna give me the results I wanted. I guess I'll know now to be better prepared next time.

Back in the Day

I was always a fan of fried chicken.

SV

Sunnyvale skate park can be fun sometimes. It's weird how different this place feels now. I used to be able to go here everyday and never get bored, but now it feels like a long trek just to get there and eventually get bummed out on the session. Every long now and then, when the park is empty, I can still get a day of good skating in.

SF Days

I've been itching to ride my bike for awhile. I miss the excitement of zipping through SF traffic.

Lazy Sundays

Just a typical Sunday picture; lazy skate sessions. At least we're still kinda out and about.

Rest

It's nice to have a small break in between work and school to recuperate. I'd probably be dead asleep in class without it.

Hunt

Did a photo scavenger hunt for class yesterday. My classmate and I took the opportunity to zip around downtown on our boards to get photos. I love the rush from skating through downtown as fast as I can, and being all over the place; on the sidewalk or in the street. It reminds me of how bike messengers in New York ride.

Red Park Regulars

This kid pretty much lives at the skate park. He'll talk your ear off while he switch ollies the pyramid (for some reason he can't ollie the pyramid regular).

Parking Garage Sessions

It's nice to have a place to skate at when it's raining, dark, and/or cold. It's these times when I wish the Vans skate park in Milpitas was still around.

Norm

There's never a dull moment at work with this guy. I've never had this much fun at a job before. His mannerisms keep me entertained through out the day. He is non-verbal so he has other ways of expressing his feelings like kicking people when he's scared, patting his head when he's happy, and slapping his chest when he's frustrated.

Tired

These long days are starting to get to me; up at 5:30AM and usually home by 9PM. I miss being able to stay up 'til 3 or 4 in the morning. I'm starting to feel like I don't have enough time to do everything I'd like in a day.
