Wayne getting gnarly!

Wynn has finally decided to get a DSLR. He's decided to get the Canon T3i, and I've been pushing him to pick one up already. I look forward to seeing one kind of pics he comes up with as well as showing him a few things here and there.

I was trying kickflip nose manuals all day, but no luck. Some days they're there and some days they're not. Regardless, skating has been feeling really good lately.

I'm officially addicted to coffee. It makes a huge difference how productive I am at work and how I feel throughout the day. Coffee is definitely something I don't mind being hooked on.
Just another trick I love!
After so many years, I'm glad I have this trick down.
I wish life was as peaceful as I look in this picture.
Another "productive" weekend of filming crap all in the name of fun. Good times though.
The comfortable thing about San Jose is that I'll always run into some familiar faces where ever I go.
The energy of a live performance is quite inspiring. It really can make like a band that much more. I can't wait to go to another show.
Some of the best nights I've had in San Jose are definitely at the Blank Club. I appreciate the ambiance of a small venue over a big one any day. The tight space and closeness to the stage gives great intimacy to any show. I can't wait to see another show here.

It's nice to get away from the rain for a bit.
One of the best things about skating is exploring places most people wouldn't think about going to. We'll figure out ways to get into every nook and cranny of our city to hunt down new spots.
I've been trying to figure out how to play with light without the need to get a bunch of studio equipment. I've been digging the diffused window light look ever since I finished my mood portraits for my photo class.
I had the opportunity to practice playing with some off camera flash yesterday, but my batteries died after about two shots. I kept trying to shoot anyways, and came to the realization that shooting in a huge shaded area was not gonna give me the results I wanted. I guess I'll know now to be better prepared next time.
I was always a fan of fried chicken.
Sunnyvale skate park can be fun sometimes. It's weird how different this place feels now. I used to be able to go here everyday and never get bored, but now it feels like a long trek just to get there and eventually get bummed out on the session. Every long now and then, when the park is empty, I can still get a day of good skating in.
